I didn't intend for this to become a weekend of Obama bashing here on Keep Us Free. But the buzz is building. I first heard it on talk radio Friday when it was only a wild rumor. Then the blogs began to pick up the story. And today Fox News took it mainstream. There is growing credibility behind the reports that there exists a damning videotape of Michelle Obama standing in the pulpit of Trinity United Church of Christ ranting against "Whitey." And that videotape is currently in the hands of a news network.
One blog, No Quarter, is reporting the following:
"Now I know why people who have seen the videotape say it is stunning. Barack’s headaches are only starting."
Reports are that the video will go public sometime tomorrow morning (Monday). I'll post the details here as soon as they come out.
What does this have to do with liberty? Any time one race is viewed with such disdain by another, there exists the dreadful possibility of oppression if the race harboring such disdain finds a seat of power such as that of the president. A black supremacist in the oval office is as great a threat to liberty as a white supremacist. Am I suggesting that Barack Obama is a black supremacist? He hasn't showed that hand yet. But he has demonstrated quite the penchant for surrounding himself with individuals who have. And it is chilling to think that a black supremacist could soon become First Lady.
